Dressing for a San Francisco summer? Not an easy task. While jeans, boots, and a sweater would be the most logical choice, I refuse to wear my fall/winter wardrobe during the summer season. It's just not right. And I'm certain there are ways around that. A maxi skirt, for example, is the perfect solution. It's easy, breezy, summer style, but it keeps you warm. On the top, instead of wearing a bulky (although warm) sweater, try layering light tops. You'll still be in season, but the layers will keep you warm. The leather jacket is my secret weapon for San Francisco - it works any season and since it's real, it actually keeps me pretty cozy.

Love this look! I'll be visiting family in San Francisco next month and can't wait to escape Ohio and the heat for some cooler temperatures. :) a jacket like yours is definitely on my packing list, along with a sweater and maybe some printed scarves to layer with.
